Hello!
My name is Laura Junig, and I am a member of the class of 2012 at the University of Rochester in upstate New York. I plan on majoring in brain and cognitive sciences and minor in Spanish. I’ve spent the majority of my life living in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Over the past few years I have become very interested in conservation and sustainability. I am a member and social chair of Grassroots, which is the environmental club at my university. I also participate in Yoga club, which is wonderful stress relief that tones the mind and body. I try to do whatever I can to reduce my impact on the environment, such as use reusable bags at the grocery store, recycle everything I can, and do the things I suggest in my blog! I know that I can’t save the world all by myself, and that is why I write on here with the hopes that SOMEONE out there is reading it, even if it is only my mom and dad!
Most of the things I put on here are from other sources such as books and websites, so soon I will be making a page with resources you can check out for more ideas and information.
Thanks for reading!
